Duties: The Java programmer will be required to learn and
comply with the coding standards and design patterns decided upon by the team leader. They will be
responsible for producing reports obtained from a relational database and displaying the results
in web pages. They will also develop dynamic, database driven functionality for the internet and
intranet web sites. In the development of all web based functionality, the programmer will be
required to implement and modify HTML templates developed by a graphic designer.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of prior work experience; A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in a computer related field of study; 4 years of related experience and/or training;
Familiarity with the following Programming/Markup Languages:
JSP/Servlet, JDBC, SQL, HTML, Hibernate; Familiarity with the following would be a plus: PL/SQL for Oracle 8i,
Jakarta Struts Framework, Tomcat servlet engine.
